Modules of MEDPlat

Family Health Survey

The FHS module is a country-wide survey conducted by NHM to accommodate reliable and up-to-date family data. A complete set of details of each of the family members is collected.

Reproductive and Child Health

RCH module aims to achieve the RCH targets for reducing maternal and infant mortality and improving total fertility rates by providing swift access to quality reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health services.

Nutrition

Children between the ages of 0-5 years are screened to identify if a child is malnourished. Based on the screening information, the child is identified as suffering from SAM (Severe Acute Malnutrition) and provided timely treatment to ensure the nutrition status is restored to normal.

Non-Communicable Diseases

NCD module supervises the screening of individuals above 30 years for five non-communicable diseases - Hypertension, Diabetes, Oral Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer. The beneficiaries can be easily referred to an appropriate health facility based on the screening insights and diagnosis.

Learning Management System

Learning Management is a dedicated module that provides online training on the application/ feature/updates to health workers. Various online courses, including videos, PDFs, quizzes, etc., are assigned in this feature.

National Programme for Control of Blindness

This module is dedicated to the eye screening of the beneficiaries. Based on the eye issues/complications identified, the beneficiary is referred to the facility and provided treatment and visual aids as required.

Immunization

Immunization is one of the key modules for protecting children from preventable life-threatening conditions.

Childbirth Defect Screening

Newborns are screened to identify birth defects, and appropriate treatment is provided if required.

Reporting

Timely and analyzed data is displayed in the reports to view the key identifiers of the services provided using the MEDPlat system.
